In my quest to rebuild my online skills, I decided to learn how to build a weblog. Problem number one: most require PERL programming......something that my webhost doesn't recognize.

"OK," I thought "I'll just learn ASP scripting." which they DO recognize. Problem number two: you have to pay extra in order for them to enable it.

Finally, I discovered a great little program called, oddly enough, "BLOG". It does all the work on your computer, and just sends the important info out to your site as HTML files. After a couple of days of fiddling with it and rebuilding the pages to suit my needs, I finally got it to work.

In the very near future, BLOG's creator Fahim A. Farook hopes to have a client-server version available. If that works out, I'm hoping to have a blog built on the NohTV site that David and Anh can contribute to quickly and easily.

If you want to learn more about BLOG, or the other programs that Fahim has developed, check out cyberian.tripod.com. It's well worth the click.
